The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal” and Knights too… has arrived in Oklahoma… I am so excited, I have never been to Oklahoma. I was quite worried yesterday morning… all the packages I mailed last week had been received… Except… Erin’s. I retraced everything in my head… Mr. Fishy was on the phone with the post office… it was terrible… dragons… in my throat… but then…
I received a tweet, email and a photo on FB of Erin… my awesome friend Erin!

As I sat at my desk looking at Erin holding the journal, I wanted to share this…
I remember the day I started this blog, well the writing part… My husband, Mr. Fishy designed all the pages and I am so proud of the job he has done… Woot! Woot!
I remember thinking in my head, I had never really written very much and well my typing stinks and geez I can’t spell…but it felt right to me… so off I went…
The journey…
Armed with computer support and lots of mismatched fireworks exploding in my mind…
I set out to discover what blogging was about… I really had no idea what to expect… What I found was so many interesting people, topics I agree with, topics I don’t, topics I didn’t think about and blogs that just make you think! Writers with passion, people with goals… friends… friends who touched me deep to my soul…
I keep reading and reading… so many things to discover, people to meet, causes to support… a hand to hold… stories to share… dreams to discover… it was all there.
So when I received Erin’s tweet, email and picture my heart skipped a beat… what I found was a friend… and I hope we all will take the time to meet the person you are writing too… I know this is awesome because…
Jean, was the 2nd person to sign up and when I gave her Erin’s blog she went over and introduced herself…
So that day, that beautiful day the blog was started… I had no idea… what I was doing and I am so glad…
Erin and Jean you rock… and so do all of you, Woot! Woot! Thank you all for signing up… I hope you meet alot of special people along the journey…
It opened my mind…and… my heart… thank you all for the support and encouragement you have given me… because of you I try harder everyday…

I am so moved I’m at a loss for words. You say you’re not a writer but you put your whole soul into those written words. What else is a writer. I’m just starting my journey. why is a very long story. What I would like to hear more about is the sisterhood of the traveling journal. That sounds like a tale to be told.
